What is the Good Schools Guide?     

The mother ship of the Good Schools Guide International), this long-running, best-selling and completely independent guide to the UK’s top schools is written by parents for parents, with vivid descriptions of each school.

First published twenty two years ago and now in its twelth edition - in print and on line - it contains advice on how to choose the right school and how to get into it. 

The Good Schools Guide covers the best state and private schools in the United Kingdom, and all age groups up to university.  Its reviews are both objective and qualitative, going beyond “the facts” by offering evaluation gathered from parents, teachers, students, and heads, plus site visits by editors.  The Guide alone chooses who to include, and takes no payment from them. 

The entire 2008 Good Schools Guide is available in print form (reprinted annually) and by subscription online. The online version allows subscribers to check up-dated changes as they come in, and to read or communicate with GSG editors.
